The Above & Beyond Awards Ceremony is an event honoring Detroit's first-responders with Detroit Police Department and Detroit Fire Department.

Deserving first-responders are recognized with the Medal of Valor, Purple Heart and Emergency Medical Merit Award for EMS. This event highlights the best of the best and showcases the bravery and heroic acts of our first-responders.
